Removing nail polish from dash
How can I remove the nail polish from dash? it is but a tiny spot but information technology is nonetheless visible in black dash. I don't want to employ smash polish remover every bit acetone may consume in dash plastic

The problem with smash smoothen is the solvents used to industry it have probably already bonded or fused information technology to the plastic. Yous might try lifting information technology with a plastic razor blade and if this is a no go then effort hiding it with a small dab of colored paint.

I tried to scrape but information technology is a very thin film. I am afraid i may cease upward scratching the nuance. How about goo gone, wd40 or paint thinner? would they affect the plastic?

Try it, at this betoken y'all have nothing to lose. If it doesn't work, you tin can practice what Bobby G. suggested. If it get's worse, y'all tin cover it with a dash cover. I've read that using amyl acetate works best to remove blast shine from plastic. Non certain if or how information technology may touch color though.
